But regardless, she plans to keep the fans informed when the time comes for their wedding
Vassos added that she will also keep viewers informed if their relationship ends

Viewers watch The Golden Bachelorette couple get engaged in the July 2024 finale of the ABC reality dating show, but they won't get to see the pair tie the knot when the time comes.
"People say, 'Will you get married on TV?' It hasn't been offered to us," Vassos shared this week on the Tangle with Kyle Ridley podcast. "And so I am perfectly happy doing our own family wedding with our family and friends."

However, Vassos, who recently shot down rumors that she and Chapple had already secretly gotten married said she plans to keep her fans in the loop.
"I would never want for them to find out that we got married and not know that. I don't think it's fair," she noted. "I would never not put some pictures up and let you know what's happening."
Calling her relationship with The Golden Bachelorette viewers "paramount," Vassos added that she plans to keep fans up to date on the status of her relationship with Chapple, good or bad.
"I would never leave them at the door," she said. "I feel like just because the show is over, the door shouldn't be shut. They deserve to see how this progresses, and if it does well, celebrate with us and if it doesn't do well, understand what happened."

As for the current status of her engagement, Vassos said fans have nothing to worry about.
"Clearly it's doing well. We're better than we've ever been," she said. "We're as close as somebody who's been dating for a year should be."
In the season 1 finale of The Golden Bachelorette, Vassos accepted Chapple's proposal after sending fellow contestant Guy Gansert home.

ABC previously featured a televised wedding special for The Golden Bachelor season 1 stars Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist in January 2024.
However, three months later the former couple announced their split.
"Theresa and I have had a number of heart-to-heart conversations, and we've looked closely at our situation, and we've come to the conclusion mutually that it's probably time for us to dissolve our marriage," Turner said on Good Morning America in April 2024.
He officially filed for divorce from Nist on April 12, 2024, and they reached a settlement in June 2024.
