"Fast & Furious" star Tyrese Gibson is reportedly facing a warrant for his arrest in Georgia after his dogs allegedly killed a neighbor's dog.

Gibson, 46, is cooperating with law enforcement, his lawyer confirmed in a statement to USA TODAY.

"Mr. Tyrese Gibson extends his deepest condolences to the family who lost their beloved dog to this tragic incident that occurred while Mr. Gibson was away from his home," Gabe Banks of Banks Weaver Law Firm, who is representing Gibson, wrote in a statement Sept. 30. "Upon learning of this unfortunate accident, Mr. Gibson immediately made the difficult decision to rehome his dogs to a safe and loving environment."

The arrest warrant detailed an attack from one of Gibson's Cane Corso dogs, according to Fox 5 and WSB-TV. A Cane Corso is an Italian breed of mastiff that can sometimes be used as a guard dog.

"Concerning the misdemeanor warrant, Mr. Gibson is cooperating fully with authorities to address and resolve this matter responsibly," Banks continued. "Mr. Gibson asks for privacy and understanding as this matter is handled through the appropriate legal channels, and as he remains committed to the safety of his community and the well-being of all animals."

According to a police report, the neighbor's King Charles Cavalier Spaniard, Henry, was found dead shortly after being let out the evening of Sept. 18, the outlets say. Henry suffered from puncture wounds and severe bleeding.

USA TODAY has reached out to the Fulton County Sheriff's office for further information.

The actor has since posted videos of the dogs, overlaid with prayer emojis, to Instagram.
