Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne were married for 43 years

Sharon Osbourne says that it's the fans of her late husband Ozzy Osbourne who are helping her through the tough time following his death. The Black Sabbath rocker died July 22 at the age of 76 following a heart attack, amid health issues including Parkinson's disease.

"I'm still having trouble finding the words to express how grateful I am for the overwhelming love and support you've shown on social media," she captioned a video that showed her spending time with birds. "Your comments, posts, and tributes have brought me more comfort than you know. None of it has gone unnoticed, in fact, it's carried me through many nights."

She added, "Though I'm still finding my footing, I wanted to share some glorious creatures I had the chance to spend an afternoon with. The connection you make with these powerful birds is built entirely on trust and confidence. They'll choose to perch on you only if they sense you are safe and unafraid of them. It's a bond I know all too well, and the experience was nothing short of magical."

The former talk show host, 72, was married to Ozzy for more than four decades. She was also his manager and the mother of three of his adult children: Aimee, Kelly, and Jack. The rocker had three other children — Jessica, Louis, and Elliot — from his previous marriage to Thelma Riley.

"I love you all, and I thank you deeply for the otherworldly amount of love you continue to send my way," she concluded.

Both Jack and Kelly, Ozzy and Sharon's costars on the iconic MTV reality show The Osbournes, previously shared statements about his death.

Jack made his statement in August, explaining that it had taken him a couple of weeks to process his loss.

"My heart has hurt too much," Jack wrote in part. "I'm gonna keep this short because he certainly hated long rambling speeches. He was so many things to so many people, but I was so lucky and blessed to be apart of a very small group that got to call him 'Dad.'"

Kelly had been the first to speak out.

"I've sat down to write this a hundred times and still don't know if the words will ever feel like enough... but from the bottom of my heart, thank you," she wrote on her Instagram Story on Aug. 4. "The love, support, and beautiful messages I've received from so many of you have truly helped carry me through the hardest moment of my life."

She added, "I will not be OK for a while," but she thanked fans for letting her family know that they were "not alone in our pain."
