Kevin Federline isn't losing sleep over the comments Sam Asghari made about him.
In a video obtained by TMZ and published on Thursday, Sept. 11, the dancer responded to being called a "professional father" by Asghari, 31.
Federline, 47, was asked about his upcoming memoir, You Thought You Knew. Though he didn't share any details, he said he was "excited for the release" and "can't wait for people to read it."
"It's been quite a process," Federline added. "I can't really say much about anything other than that right now, but I am very excited."
As for anything that would shock readers, Federline said fans will "have to wait and see."

When prompted about Asghari's comments, Federline said he was "not too worried about what Sam thinks."
"But I do love the tagline 'professional father,'" he continued. "I think every father should strive to be a professional father."
In August, Asghari, who was married to the "Stronger" singer from June 2022 until they separated in August 2023 and settled their divorce in May 2024, gave TMZ shady comments about Federline.
Asghari was asked his thoughts Federline's upcoming memoir, which will delve into his life and marriage to Britney Spears. "Well, he was a professional father, so it would be the first book that'll tell you how to be a professional father," he quipped.
Federline has six children. He is the dad to daughter Kori Madison and son Kaleb Michael with ex-fiancée Shar Jackson. He has two daughters, Jordan Kay and Peyton Marie, with Victoria Prince. He also shares two sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James, with Spears, 43.
Federline also spoke about the comments Spears made about her respective marriage with Asghari. Spears called it "fake" and a "distraction" in an Instagram post from August. Federline said Spears' commentary was "news" to him.
Federline was also asked if he wished for anything for Spears. "Just happy, healthy, you know." He concluded that Hawaii was "amazing" and "the best decision I ever made in my life."
Federline's upcoming memoir "explores how he weathered the scrutiny of relentless media coverage, high-profile relationships and the painful reality of raising children under a microscope, all while trying to hold his family together," per a press release.
"This book is extremely intimate and transparent," Federline said of his memoir in the statement shared with PEOPLE.
"I achieved my biggest dreams, dealt with crushing heartbreak and endured constant ridicule, all while becoming the father my children needed as they experienced non-stop emotional turbulence," he continued. "If you've ever had questions, you'll find answers here."
