Ed Sheeran is extending his Loop Tour to cities throughout North America in 2026
He will make stops in Philadelphia, Las Vegas, Nashville, Toronto, Detroit and Los Angeles among other cities
The singer-songwriter released his latest album, Play, on Friday, Sept. 12
Ed Sheeran is pressing play on a North America tour leg.
The "Thinking Out Loud" singer announced on Thursday, Sept. 18, that he is extending his Loop Tour into North America in 2026.
"Coming back to North America for the Loop tour," Sheeran, 34, wrote on Instagram with a video of him wandering around New York, grabbing a hot dog and bicycling through the city streets. At one point, he also holds up a copy of a magazine titled "Teddy's Tribune" with the headline "The British Are Coming!"
"New stage, new setlist, new tricks. I LOVE touring North America, I've always felt so much love there since the first gig I did in LA and Toronto back in 2010. Can't wait to be back, see you all there from spring 2026."
The announcement comes days after Sheeran released his latest album, Play, on Friday, Sept 12.

Sheeran's North America trek kicks off in June 2026 in Glendale, Ariz. before heading across the continent, hitting major cities such as Philadelphia, East Rutherford, Chicago, Las Vegas and Toronto.
The "Perfect" singer will wrap up his tour in Tampa in November. Before heading to North America, Sheeran will be performing in Australia and New Zealand in January 2026.
Per a press release, fans can expect "an all-new set design with new songs from his recently released album, Play, as well as fan favorites and some classics added in."
For early access to tickets, fans can check out EdSheeran.com for presale registrations provided by Seated.
Fans will receive a "unique one-time code" that will be used when the Artist Preesale begins on Tuesday, Sept. 23, at 9 a.m. local time.
American Express cardholders also have access to a presale through Amex Presale Tickets starting Tuesday, Sept. 23 at 12 p.m. local time while tickets are available.
General sale for tickets kicks off on Friday, Sept. 26, at 10 a.m. local time.
