Kylie Jenner is reflecting on her special bond with her late friend and hairstylist, Jesus Guerrero.
On Aug. 23, the Kardashians star celebrated what would've been Guerrero's 35th birthday, just months after his death on Feb. 22 from pneumonia and a fungal infection, which were released in a report from the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner in June. Guerrero was 34.
In an Instagram Stories post, the Kylie Cosmetics founder, 28, wrote an emotional tribute to Guerrero, wishing him a "heavenly birthday."

"Not a day goes by that we don't think about you," she wrote. "Happy heavenly birthday. You're forever loved and missed."
The photo featured a white birthday cake covered in frosting leaves and five lit candles. Jenner also tagged her makeup artist, Ariel Tajada.

Guerrero's sudden death was announced in February through a series of Instagram posts shared by his family.
"Our family would like to thank everyone for all the love and support during this hard time. Jesus was the brightest light, we have never doubted that he touched the hearts and lives of everyone he came across," they wrote.
Guerrero's younger sister, Gris, later created a GoFundMe page that read, "Currently, his family is taking care of his personal belongings and accommodations to bring him home to Houston."
It was later revealed that Jenner had covered all expenses. "Jesus' death hit her hard," a source told PEOPLE days after Guerrero's death, adding, "She's doing everything she can to be supportive and aid his family, including financially."
Two months after the tragic incident, Jenner broke her silence on Instagram in May with a touching post filled with photos of her and Guerrero over the years.
"Jesus was more than my friend — he was a light in my life, a source of laughter, comfort, love, and unwavering support. I don't know how I would have made it through the last almost decade without him by my side. He had a way of making even the heaviest days feel lighter," she wrote.

Guerrero's funeral was held on March 30 in Houston. PEOPLE confirmed that Jenner and Jennifer Lopez, who had also spent time with Guerrero before his death, attended alongside prominent figures in the beauty industry, friends and family members. Katy Perry, who was also one of Guerrero's clients, missed the funeral because she was doing tour rehearsals, but was in touch with his family at the time.
