A tiny Florida town has ratcheted up its reputation for luxury real estate in recent years and is increasingly being branded as a rival to Palm Beach. Manalapan is a roughly 2.4-square-mile town, much of which used to be all woods until developers realized its potential. One of the first to recognize what it could be was Stewart Satter, who bought four empty lots there in 2005.
