One of the most regrettable signings of Major League Baseball's 2024 campaign is already facing season-ending surgery. Arizona Diamondbacks starting pitcher Jordan Montgomery will undergo Tommy John surgery for the second time in his career, he revealed to reporters Tuesday. The 32-year-old southpaw admitted to dealing with soreness during some recent spring training starts. 'We thought it was just kind of like a joint thing, (I) would get a shot in there to clean it up and I'd be good,' Montgomery said.
