Adam Driverhas broken his silence onLena Dunham's memoir.

The actress, 40, wrote about her complicated relationship with her formerGirlscostar in her memoirFamesick, including claims that Driver, 42, once “hurled a chair at the wall” next to her and was at times “verbally aggressive.”

When asked about the memoir at a press conference for his latest film,Paper Tiger, during the 2026 Cannes Film Festival on Sunday, May 17, the actor said he has “no comment on any of that.”

“I'm saving it all for my book,” he added, inciting laughter from the audience, video shared byDeadlineshows.

In her memoir, Dunham opened up about facing chronic illness, makingGirls, dating and coming of age. When it came to her relationship with Driver, she wrote, "The more I knew him, the less I understood.”

While Dunham said the two have not spoken since the end of their HBO show in 2017, she remembered being “heartbroken” when she learned that Driver was engaged.

She also wrote about watching Driver navigate his way through a “very specific ride" — becoming a major movie star while also focusing onGirls.

Speaking with PEOPLE about her memoir andher relationship with Driver, Dunham said, "He was on these two tracks, and he's a very, very serious work-focused private person. So I have a lot of empathy for that."

"And again, the goal was never to make Adam seem like he was in any way the outlier of the show, but just to talk about how complex and confusing those first experiences of trying to be a boss were," she continued.

In reflecting on her “really rich creative dynamic" with Driver, Dunham recalled that they were able to “understand each other completely” when they were onscreen. (Driver starred inGirlsas Dunham's character's on-again, off-again boyfriend.)

But when it came to their real lives, things were different, Dunham said. "It was almost like we had two different relationships, one that kind of played out in our scenes together and one that played out in life,” she explained.

According to Dunham, her memoir was “an attempt to capture that [relationship] in an honest way, and also really talk about how much being around this very talented, charismatic, complex and powerful person affected me in ways that were really positive and in ways that were a bit harder.”

The "Like the Rain" singer reflects on his dad's 2012 death by suicide in a new interview.

"We loved him very much. He was a great character. All of our friends, everybody loved him," the musician toldPEOPLE. "[People say], 'Well, he lived a long life.' Yeah, well, we got more addicted to him too. The longer they're around, the more you want them around."

Black described his father's death at 78 as a "devastating blow" that revealed "just how painful life can be."

"I hadn't been exposed to it in such a way as to realize, 'Oh wow, this is how painful things can be,'" the singer said.

Black also explained how 14 years after his father's death, he is still constantly reminded of him. "I was watchingThe Mastersand I was missing him because we'd just sit on the phone together and watchThe Masterstogether," he recalled. "And we didn't have to talk. Every now and then, 'Ooh.' Those days are gone now. So it's tough."

Blackannouncedhis dad's death in a press release in December 2012, noting how shocking the tragedy was. "Our family is devastated by this news," he said in a statement. "We are still in the beginning stages of preparations to honor our father, and at this time, we respectfully ask for privacy until we have had the opportunity to fully process what's transpired over the last 48 hours.”

The singer chronicles his final moments with his father in his upcoming memoir,Killin' Time: My Life and Music. "I just felt like I needed to tell the end of his story, what it did to me, and it's still doing it," Black told PEOPLE of the book. "I miss him all the time."

The memoir will also be a candid reflection on his working-class background. "This is the life of a blue-collar family, coming up with a little education and really making a good go of it, persevering through just determination," he said. "I was just a scrappy little kid, trying not to drown, finding my way into the nightclubs and then the record business."

"I pushed through hurdle after hurdle, injury after injury, surgery after surgery, and all those things that happen in every life," he added, "and continued to strive for excellence."

Though theLittle House on the Prairiealumhas appeared on her company Modern Prairie's socialsfrequently in recent months, she posted for the first time since January on her ownInstagramaccount.

Gilbert initiallydeleted her social media accountwhenchild sex abuse allegationssurrounding her husband were first brought to light. Busfield, 68,was indicted by a grand jury in New Mexicoon four counts of criminal sexual contact of a minor (child under 13) on Feb. 6. All counts are third-degree felonies and pertain to alleged events in October 2022 and September 2023.

The actor, who has been married to Gilbert since 2013, has pleaded not guilty to all charges against him.

Busfield initiallysurrendered to police on Jan. 13, four days after the Albuquerque Police Department (APD)issued a warrant for his arrest, alleging that he engaged in unlawful sexual conduct with 11-year-old twin boys. On Jan. 14, hefaced an additional allegation of sexual abuse, which he has not been charged with.

Busfield wasreleased from custody in New Mexicowith conditions on Jan. 20 while he awaits trial. He waived his arraignment and appearances in court for all pretrial proceedings on Feb. 11. The request was granted on Feb. 18 by Judge Joseph Montano. His trial is nowscheduled to begin in May 2027.

Gilbert previously toldGood Morning America'sGeorge Stephanopoulosin her first interview since Busfield's arrest that she is "100% confident he will be exonerated" and that she believes "justice" would include "exoneration" and "an apology."

The actress also said she "didn't go into my relationship blind" and spoke with Busfield about the prior allegations, explaining, "I heard his side of the story — which nobody has ever heard — which is the truth. And when the time is right, and that is not now, Tim will tell the truth of all of these past allegations when he needs to."

Finn Littlereturns as Beth and Rip's son, Carter, in the newYellowstonespinoffseries,Dutton Ranch, but he didn't exactly get much warning about the new show.

The Australian actor was cast as Carter, who becomes the adoptive son of Beth (Kelly Reilly) and Rip (Cole Hauser), inYellowstonewhen he was 14. Now 19, he tells PEOPLE that the show and the character "has been my life" in recent memory.

"Yellowstonehas been a huge part of my life. It's awesome," he says.

Whenthe original series endedin 2024, Little says there was talk about a possible spinoff for Beth and Rip, but nothing was set in stone. "I didn't hear anything about it until like a week before I flew out [to film]," he reveals.

"Yeah, it was just like, 'Hey, it's happening, hope you're ready.' I was like, 'Oh, all right. Let's go,'" he recalls.

"I was excited," Little says of the chance to return to his character. "I wanted to see more from Carter. I wanted to keep playing the character, for sure."

Beth, Rip and Carter start a new life in Texas inDutton Ranch, and Little says, "A lot has changed [for Carter] since we last saw him."

In the spinoff, he's "growing into himself," but "trouble's brewing," particularly when he meets Oreana (Natalie Alyn Lind). "I think Carter sees a lot of Beth in Oreana, that fierceness and that strong personality. I think that's what attracts Carter," Little says.

It's Beth and Rip that will make fans ofYellowstonelove the new spinoff, he promises. "Beth and Rip are a staple ofYellowstone. They're some of people's favorite characters. So if you love Beth and Rip, you'll loveDutton Ranch, and you'll love all the new problems that come along with it," Little tells PEOPLE at the New York City premiere on May 12.

Dutton Ranch"feels likeYellowstone," he says. "It's never an easy life for the Duttons."
