June 7 – this coming Saturday – is a poignant date in the life of the Dorries family. It's the day that everything changed. Nothing has been the same since, nor will it ever be again. It's the day in 2019 that my husband Paul, the father of my three daughters, died. I know that each day this week will feel heavy to me. That's the only way I can describe the feeling that settles in and like a black cloud remains in place until his anniversary has passed.

Women taking oral hormone replacement therapy (HRT) are being advised to talk to their doctor if they also start using the weight-loss jab Mounjaro, amid concerns they could be at a higher risk of womb cancer. Meanwhile, there are fears that women getting hold of Mounjaro online – rather than through their GP – will be unaware of the potential risk. HRT provides oestrogen to ease menopause symptoms such as hot flushes, low mood and reduced sex drive.
