Adria Arjona shared a funny anecdote about partying with champagne on top of a table at the Cannes Film Festival with her boyfriend Jason Momoa on the Tuesday, Aug. 26 episode of the Angle on Producers with Carolina Groppa podcast
"He left me alone for six minutes. Literally, six minutes. And when he came back, I was on top of the table with two bottles of champagne, just spraying everybody that is wearing the most amazing, most expensive gowns and tuxedos," Arjona said
Arjona is promoting her new movie Splitsville, which is in limited theaters now and releases everywhere Sept. 5
Adria Arjona got a little carried away while she and Jason Momoa partied at the Cannes Film Festival this spring.
While Arjona, 33, promoted her new comedy Splitsville on the Tuesday, Aug. 26 episode of the Angle on Producers with Carolina Groppa podcast, the actress recalled that she sprayed people with champagne while standing on a table at Splitsville's afterparty following its May premiere in Cannes when asked if she has ever done anything that "one might consider pretty punk rock."
"Yeah. A couple of times," Arjona, who has been dating Momoa since spring 2024, said with a laugh. "I do some wild s---. We were all in Cannes, and it was the after-party and we were all having a good time. My partner was with me. He left me alone for six minutes. Literally, six minutes. And when he came back, I was on top of the table with two bottles of champagne, just spraying everybody that is wearing the most amazing, most expensive gowns and tuxedos."
"And I'm like, 'Wow!' And he's like, 'Dude, I left you alone for six minutes. What is happening?' And then my response was, 'I want to do bad things,' " Arjona added.

Momoa accompanied Arjona to the Cannes Film Festival in May for Splitsville's premiere alongside her costars Dakota Johnson, Kyle Marvin and Michael Angelo Covino. The movie, written by Marvin and Covino and directed by Covino, follows two couples whose friendships go awry when they begin exploring open marriages with each other. Splitsville has grown into one of the year's buzziest films in the weeks leading up to its limited theatrical release on Aug. 22.
"It was so exciting to see this movie have the standing ovation that it did. We were a comedy premiering at Cannes, so in celebration, I think something of [her Splitsville character] Ashley just took over me and I just became this insane, crazy person on top of tables, popping champagne bottles," Arjona said of partying at Cannes with Momoa.

Arjona and Momoa appear to have first met when they costarred in the 2021 movie Sweet Girl. Momoa, who finalized his divorce from his ex-wife Lisa Bonet in January 2024, first revealed that he was in a new relationship in May of that year, though he did not clarify when he and Arjona began dating.
The pair frequently shares photos together on Instagram and comments on each other's social media posts, including when Arjona wished Momoa a happy 46th birthday on Aug. 1. "There's nothing I love more than doing life by your side. So here's to one more year of being wild and free and to forever growing young," she wrote in a caption at that time.
Splitsville is playing in limited theaters now; the movie opens everywhere Sept. 5.
