Under-siege CBS loses two of its most iconic shows in latest blow
Under-siege CBS has been dealt yet another blow. While doing battle with Donald Trump and facing mounting layoffs at parent company Paramount, the network is now on the verge of permanently losing the distribution rights of longtime stalwarts 'Jeopardy!' and 'Wheel of Fortune'. The embattled broadcaster lost both shows on Wednesday, following a ruling from a court in California that denied CBS's request to temporarily block Sony from distributing the popular game shows.
