
World's biggest hedge fund boss warns it's 'too late' to fix Trump's tariff damage
A famed hedge fund manager, who previously joined a chorus of analysts correctly warning about the 2008 great recession, is speaking out again. Ray Dalio, the billionaire founder of Bridgewater Associates, warned that President Donald Trump's tariffs will produce irreparable harm in the US and global economies. He said it is 'too late' to stop the bleeding. 'Some people believe that the tariff disruptions will settle down as more negotiations happen and greater thought is given to how to structure them to work in a sensible way,' Dalio wrote in a post on social media site X.
