Controversial Colorado Rep. Lauren Boebert first became a mother when she was just a teenager. In 2003, Lauren, who is a staunch opponent of abortion, met her now ex-husband Jayson Boebert when he visited the McDonald's where she was working, Lauren recounted in her 2022 memoir My American Life. Though she was only 16 and he was 22 at the time, their relationship became serious, fast: Four months after they met, they traveled to Las Vegas to get married — and by the summer of 2004, they "decided to start a family," she wrote.
