Noelia Voigt relinquished her Miss USA crown in 2024, but she has recently reintegrated herself into the pageant community since the organization entered a new era
After making a surprise appearance at this year's competition as host of the preliminary round on Oct. 22, Voigt revealed that she also received replacements for the crown and sash she had to give up when resigning
The 2023 titleholder praised Miss USA's new CEO, Thom Brodeur, for having the keepsakes remade for her shortly after he acquired the pageant in September 2025
Noelia Voigt is finding more ways to reclaim her story and accomplishments as a past Miss USA winner after relinquishing her crown.
In May 2024, Voigt, 25, became the first winner to do so, and days later, Miss Teen USA 2023 UmaSofia Srivastava resigned from her title as well. Voigt announced her decision to give up the crown on Instagram, advising her followers to "never compromise your physical and mental well-being." She wrote, "Our health is our wealth."
In recent months, the Miss USA organization has undergone an overhaul in leadership, namely with its new CEO, Thom Brodeur. As a testament to the pageant's recent evolution, Voigt surprised the world when she returned to the Miss USA stage as a co-host of the 2025 preliminary round on Wednesday, Oct. 22.

One week later, Voigt took to Instagram to share another, more symbolic way she's been able to welcome the pageant back into her life. Voigt said the CEO sent her crown and sash replacements soon after he stepped into his current leadership role.
"After my resignation in May of 2024, I (naturally) had to give back my crown and sash. It was a natural consequence of my decision, but disappointing nonetheless because of the reasoning behind it all," Voigt wrote. She added that lacking any "physical items" to have as keepsakes "stung for a while."
The former winner continued to recount how Brodeur reached out soon after his takeover was confirmed. "He said to me that one of the first things he wanted to do was get my crown and sash remade. He told me he knew how much hard work, time, and sacrifice went into my journey and he wanted me to have something to keep and show my future kids," she wrote.
"Thank you, Thom, for restoring my faith in pageantry, leadership, and Miss USA. Your dedication, respect, and love for your girls is so evident in everything you do. I love you beyond," Voigt concluded her heartfelt caption.
Since acquiring Miss USA and Miss Teen USA, Brodeur has publicly stated his intention to stabilize the pageants after years of shakeups. In September 2025, he told PEOPLE that he was working through a contract reform process meant to entitle winners to more freedoms in response to Voigt and Srivastava's bombshell actions.
"There was some pretty egregious NDA language that suppressed the voices of those two young women and did not give them the ability to speak about their journey. I want to remove that restriction," Brodeur claimed last month. "I think if you have nothing to hide, there's no reason to hide."
