Diane Kruger shares her daughter's hilarious reaction to her children's book
While chatting with PEOPLE about her new HBO Max series The Seduction, the Visions actress shared that her daughter Nova, 7, called her book "boring"

Diane Kruger is sharing her daughter's reaction to her children's book.
While chatting with PEOPLE about her new HBO Max series The Seduction, the proud mom and actress, 49, recalled her daughter Nova's reaction to her children's book, A Name From The Sky. Kruger, who shares her daughter with fiancé Norman Reedus, tells PEOPLE that her daughter called her book, which featured the 7-year-old in it, "boring."
"I wrote a kid's book once, and I was so excited to read it to her because she's in the book, and she was like, 'It's boring, Mom. Why are you reading this to me?' " she recalls.

The couple met in 2015 on the set of Sky and by March 2017, the actors' relationship was confirmed. The following year, Reedus and Kruger welcomed their first child together, making the actress a mom for the first time. Reedus also shares a son with his ex Helena Christensen.
On Friday, Oct. 10, the actor asked the audience at his panel for The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon to sing "Happy Birthday" birthday to his daughter Nova.
"Her name's Nova, ready?" Reedus, 56, was heard saying before he led the whole crowd in song. At the end of the tune, the proud dad shouted out a sweet message to his daughter and thanked everyone for their participation.
"I love you Nova. That made my night. Thank you," said the dad of two.
This past June, Kruger, 49, shared an adorable photo on her Instagram of Nova in a movie theater as she reached up to point out Reedus posing in a poster for his movie, Ballerina. Nova could be seen wearing a white T-shirt with her hair pulled back into a ponytail as she pointed out her dad. "Proud of you Papa ! bigbaldhead #ballerina," Kruger wrote in the caption.
In the comments, Reedus wrote, "😍😢❤️❤️." He also reshared the photo on his own Instagram.

In March 2023, Kruger shared rare family photos from her trip to Tokyo Disneyland with Reedus and their daughter.
"That's a wrap on Spring Break Tokyo ! We had the best time ❤️🙏," Kruger's caption read as she raved about her time. "Things to absolutely DO if you go, is go see the @teamlab exhibit ! It's out of this world 🌎 A definite NO is Tokyo Disneyland TRUST."
In the post's first slide, Toy Story's Buzz Lightyear appeared to be speaking in Japanese as he held onto his blaster gun. Kruger then concluded her post with a snap of Reedus displaying a thumbs-up while holding onto a stroller, which appeared to have their daughter sitting inside with a coat covering her face.
The Seduction premieres Friday, Nov. 14, on HBO Max.
