<p>'Wishing you all a wonderful 4th of July celebration!' writes a former child star.</p>
<p>Leave It to Beaver was a fan-favorite sitcom that aired in the 1950s and 1960s on CBS and ABC. It starred Barbara Billingsley, Hugh Beaumont, Tony Dow and Jerry Mathers.</p>
<p>Mathers, 77, is the only surviving main cast member, but he is keeping the Leave It to Beaver flame alive. For the Fourth of July 2025, he posted a lovely photo of himself with his TV mom, June Cleaver (Billingsley) folding an American flag and wrote, "Wishing you all a wonderful 4th of July celebration!"</p>
<p>It has almost 2000 comments, which are all saying versions of the same message — Happy 4th of July and we miss Leave It to Beaver!</p>
<p>"Happy Independence Day to you and yours! Thanks for the wholesome memories and your charming talents!," wrote one fan.</p>
<p>Another wrote, "Right back at ya, Watching you call Clarence Lumpy as we speak 😆."</p>
<p>"Happy to say I bet I'm the youngest in here that knows that Leave It to Beaver. I'm 23 years old btw," wrote a third fan.</p>

<p>A fourth fan wrote, "Happy 4th…may God bless you and your family…thank you for many years of entertainment..peace," and a fifth fan added, "Happy 4th to you & your family. I have spent mine watching Leave It To Beaver on Roku from the first to last episode."</p>
<p>A sixth fan simply wrote, "Sweet patriotic picture!"</p>
<p>Mathers recently reunited with other then-child stars from Leave It to Beaver at the Hollywood Show, which is a huge autograph show held in Los Angeles three times a year.</p>
<p>He reunited with co-stars Stephen Talbot (Gilbert), Jeri Weil (Judy), Luke Tiger Fafara (Tooey) and Veronica Cartwright (Violet Rutherford).</p>
<p>"I had so much fun at our Leave it to Beaver reunion at the The Hollywood Show recently…Thank you to everyone who came out to see us!" wrote Mathers on the Facebook post.</p>
