
Major tech company issues recall for nearly 2 million pressure cookers after customers suffer third degree burns
Nearly two million pressure cookers from SharkNinja have been recalled after horrific stories emerged of customers suffering third degree burns while they were in use. The Ninja Foodi OP300 Series Multi-Function Pressure Cooker has been reported to have hazardous lids that can pop open during usage. The design fault allows hot food to escape, resulting in serious burn injuries. The recalled products were sold at Walmart, Costco, Sam's Club, and Target stores nationwide, as well as the company's website between January 2019 and March 2025 for about $200.
