White Lotus star dropped out of Marvel's Avengers: Endgame over pay dispute
The White Lotus star Carrie Coon previously dropped out of the Marvel film Avengers: Endgame due to a pay dispute. The Emmy-nominated actress, 44 — who currently stars in the third season of the hit HBO anthology series — portrayed the character of Proxima Midnight in Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and had been asked to reprise the role once again for Endgame. However, her husband Tracy Letts revealed during an episode of The Big Picture podcast that upon learning she would not receive any pay raise — Coon opted to exit from the project.
