Urgent recall for everyday salad item sold in Walmarts in 29 states across the US over food poisoning risks
Walmart is at the center of a new food recall involving celery. Duda Farm Fresh Foods has pulled its Marketside celery sticks from stores in 29 states over possible contamination. The company voluntarily recalled 1,587 cases of the washed and ready-to-eat sticks, which come in packs of four, on April 10. They are linked to a potential Listeria monocytogenes contamination. The issue was found during a random sampling by the Georgia Department of Agriculture.
