A distant ocean-covered world, teeming with life. That's the most likely explanation for a new discovery made by scientists, who say they have detected the most promising signs yet of life outside our solar system. Using data from the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST), the astronomers, led by the University of Cambridge, have identified the chemical fingerprints dimethyl sulfide (DMS) and dimethyl disulfide (DMDS) – molecules that indicate life.
