Hackers known as RansomHub gained access in June 2024 by impersonating a company employee. Rite Aid has agreed to pay out $6.8 million as a settlement. Impacted customers can file a claim for up to $10,000 by providing 'reasonable documentation' of losses, such as bank statements, credit card statements, invoices, and receipts.
