Israel has sacked a deputy commander after an internal investigation revealed a chain of 'professional failures' led to IDF troops killing 15 Gaza aid workers. Eight Red Crescent personnel, six Civil Defense workers and a UN staffer were killed in the shooting before dawn on March 23 by troops conducting operations in Tel al-Sultan, a district of the southern Gaza city of Rafah. The nation's narrative of the incident changed multiple times, after it was first revealed that fifteen aid workers - which included eight Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) medics - were discovered in a 'mass grave.
