A stunning cottage in East Hampton, New York, was demolished after it was purchased for over $12 million. British developer Nick Capstick-Dale and his wife Laura made the off-market purchase last November. The house, which overlooked the exclusive oceanfront members only Maidstone Club, mysteriously disappeared in February. 'One day they [the neighbors] woke up, and the house was gone!' broker Paul Brennan of Douglas Elliman told the New York Post.
