Virgin Atlantic has a secret-level business-class seat. It's called the Retreat Suite and occupies a chunk of real estate at the front of the airline's swish new Airbus A330-900neos. I tried out a static model of the seat when it launched and described it at the time as a 'glorious mini hotel suite'. But it's one thing to sit in a seat in a London studio, and quite another to do so during an actual long-haul journey.
