Winning a bronze medal at the 2024 Olympics wasn't Ryan Murphy's only big moment on Monday, July 29. After Murphy, 29, received his bronze medal for finishing third in the 100-meter backstroke race, his wife Bridget Konttinen stood in the stands and held up a handwritten sign that read, "Ryan it's a girl!" He was later spotted in the stands hugging Konttinen before the parents-to-be shared a kiss. "I was walking back around and Bridget was holding up a sign and it said — 'Ryan, it's a girl,' "
