It wasn't a "very good thing" whenMartha Stewartbroke her big toe at a New York Knicks game last May.

The lifestyle guru was sitting courtside at Madison Square Garden when the home team's point guard, Jalen Brunson, dove for a ball out of bounds — and "crashed" right into 84-year-old Stewart, who was wearing open-toe sandals.

As her big toe throbbed in pain, she knew immediately the 190-pound athlete had broken the bone.

Nearly a year later, she recently got the chance to confront Brunson on his podcast,Roommates Show, cohosted by his teammate Josh Hart.

The two-time NBA All-Star was deeply apologetic, although admitted he didn't remember the moment, which went down as the Knicks squared off against the Indiana Pacers in the Eastern Conference Finals.

As Stewart recounted, Brunson not only landed on her, he even sat on her lap.

"You jumped up really fast. And I remember saying to you, 'It's okay.' You had no idea that you had hurt me. I didn't say you hurt me, but I said, 'It's okay.' It wasn't okay at all."

After the game — which went into overtime, much to her painful chagrin — Stewart headed straight to the Hospital for Special Surgery on Manhattan's Upper East Side to have her toe checked out.

"They've named it the 'Stewart-Brunson fracture,'" she joked. "I have an X-ray, I'm going to leave you a picture of it... it was actually a break, so anyways, it's better now… It took one year to heal."

Stewart previouslytold the storyonThe Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, and revealed she actually ran into the NBA star's parents, Knicks assistant coach Rick Brunson and his wife Sandra, in the Hamptons. And she couldn't help but tell them what their son did. "They were laughing," she told Fallon. "They thought it was so funny."

Brunson now adds a little more to the story: His dad FaceTimed him to virtually apologize to Stewart. He later also sent her a basketball, which she gave to her grandson.

In the end, there's no bad blood — and Stewart learned a valuable lesson.

"It's my fault for wearing open-toe shoes to a basketball game," she reasoned. "I look back at it as just something silly, stupid, and funny. It was stupid of me."

"This past winter, federal troops brought death and terror to the streets of Minneapolis. Well, they picked the wrong city. The power and the solidarity of the people of Minneapolis, of Minnesota, was an inspiration to the entire country," Springsteen said, and then added of Good and Pretti, "Their bravery, their sacrifice, and their names will not be forgotten."

LeAnn Rimes breaks down while undergoing 'deep jaw release' in emotionally raw video: 'Oh, my god'

Inan intimate Instagram videoposted by fascial maneuver providerHuman Garageon Sunday, Rimes, 43, undergoes a "deep jaw release" technique with co-founder, Garry Lineham.

After Lineham puts his hands in her mouth to realign her jaw — as a fellow practitioner holds her head still — Rimes immediately lets out sobs of relief. She holds her face and says, "Oh, my god" a few times before Lineham instructs her, "Say 'that part of my life is over.'"

The "Blue" singerresponds, "That part of my life better be over."

She adds, "Oh, my god. You just don't realize how much tension is in there," before Lineham chimes in, "Until it's gone."

In the caption of their video post, Human Garage shared that "healing isn't always quiet. Sometimes it's a physical letting go of things we didn't even know we were carrying."

"In this powerful session, @garrylineham works with @leannrimes on a deep Jaw Release," the note continued. "You can see the exact moment the tension breaks and the emotional weight lifts, leaving her feeling visibly lighter and more aligned."

The self-care provider claimed that "the jaw is one of the body's primary storage sites for stress" and that when we hold it all in "the fascia in the face and neck 'locks' to protect us."

"By using the maneuvers to signal safety to the nervous system, we can finally allow that stored energy to move," Human Garage wrote.

Rimes shared more of her journey with fascia tension in a March 23 post onInstagram.

"For as long as I can remember, my body has held tension like it's been bracing for something. My jaw, my neck, my shoulders... especially the TMJ (temporomandibular joint). It's never really let go. And as someone whose voice is literally my instrument, that kind of tightness doesn't just live in my body; it shows up in how I breathe, how I express, how freely I can sing."

Rimes said she has tried to take care of herself by focusing on "nutrition, hormones, nervous system work, therapy, [and] supplements," but none of those "healing paths" worked until she discovered fascia research.

"On the other side of it, I'm experiencing a level of freedom and openness in my body that I haven't felt in a long time," she added of the jaw release.

The9-1-1: Nashvillestar explained that fascia "responds to our lived experience, to the moments we didn't fully process, to the times we had to hold it together instead of letting something move through."

This isn't the only health scare Rimes has faced in recent months. After her false teeth fell out mid-performance last year, she combatted "micro-toxins" in her body byundergoing a "plasma exchange"in January.

"Listening to my body and choosing what feels supportive for this season of healing, especially after a very busy year of filming and touring," Rimes captioned anInstagram videoat the time. "I demand so much from my body and it's incredibly important to me to take the best care of it I possibly can."

The country singer explained that this was her second time getting the treatment, which helps "clear micro-toxins, such as mold and microplastics," adding that she's also "added stem cells to encourage overall repair."

Rimes is currently on her "30 Years of Blue" tour through July.

Did Savannah Guthrie Receive Message Saying Mom Nancy Is Dead?

As the search forNancy Guthrieenters its eighth week, speculation is mounting that a secondalleged ransom notewas actually an apology letter revealing the 84-year-old had died.

TV Insider Savannah and Nancy Guthrie

The speculation was brought up on the March 28 episode ofMegyn Kelly's SiriusXM program,The Megyn Kelly Show, in which she spoke with former FBI supervisory special agent James Hamilton and veteran investigator Maureen O'Connell about the alleged contents of the ransom notes.

Kelly citedan X postfrom a user named Nerdy_Addict, whom she claimed has been accurate in their reporting throughout the investigation. In the post, the user wrote, "I now have two sources confirming that one of the letters sent to the media in the Nancy Guthrie case allegedly states the sender apologized, claiming they did not realize how serious her heart condition was and that she has 'gone to be with God.'"

Nancy, the mother ofTodayco-hostSavannahGuthrie, has beenmissing since January 31,when police believe she was abducted from her home in Tucson, Arizona. Since then, investigators have releaseddoorbell camera footageof a masked suspect andshared a descriptionof the potential abductor.

Previous reports noted that Nancy'spacemaker stopped syncingwith her Apple Watch in the early hours of February 1. Pima Country Sheriff Chris Nanos also revealed Nancy had limited mobility and required daily medication for high blood pressure and heart issues.

The X user claimed that "investigators believe the message came from the same individuals who previously demanded Bitcoin, though this latest letter reportedly made no demands and was framed solely as an apology."

Early in the investigation, law enforcement and media outlets, including TMZ, received two alleged ransom notes. The first included an offer to return Nancy in exchange for the cryptocurrency Bitcoin. According to TMZ, the value of the Bitcoin demanded was in the "millions."

Savannah said she wouldpay the ransomin an Instagram video shared in early February. However, TMZ recently confirmed that the Bitcoin wallet, which they have continued to monitor, hasn't received any funds.

"Why didn't the Guthrie family ever pay a ransom if they believed, as Savannah told us yesterday, that two of those ransom notes they received were authentic?" Kelly asked, referring to Savannah'srecentTodayinterview, in which she said, "I believe the two notes that we received, that we responded to, I tend to believe those are real."

Kelly, who noted the claims about the apology letter should be taken with "a grain of salt," went on to say that Savannah's Instagram plea "sounded like they believed Nancy was no longer alive."

"Return our mother to us so we can celebrate with her'—'celebrate' possibly being a term of art, like a celebration of life… That could dovetail with reporting that the second ransom note was more of an apology, claiming they had Nancy's body and that she had gone to be with God," the former Fox News anchor stated.

However, Hamilton wasn't so sure about the authenticity of the ransom notes, despite Savannah's belief that they were legitimate.

"All I'm hearing, Megyn, is what scam artists do. They prey upon grief. They prey upon your vulnerability," he explained. "They're saying anything they can to get paid. It really doesn't move the needle a lot for me."
