
Town official's unhinged response after lost DoorDash driver tried to ask for directions
A New York highway superintendent and licensed gun dealer allegedly opened fire on a lost food delivery driver striking the man in the back as he attempted to drive away after asking for directions. The incident happened just before 10pm on Friday night in the suburban neighborhood of Chester, Orange County, a tranquil town about 60 miles north of New York City. A criminal investigation is now underway involving the elected town official, a DoorDash driver from West Africa, and what police are calling a senseless and violent overreaction.
