
Jacksonville Jaguars release Gabe Davis after just one season
The Jacksonville Jaguars have announced they are releasing wide receiver Gabe Davis. It comes almost two weeks after they took Travis Hunter, who plays both receiver and cornerback, with the No. 1 pick in this year's NFL draft. The Jaguars signed Davis to a three-year, $39million deal just last offseason. But he played only 10 games, finishing with 20 catches for 239 yards after suffering a season-ending knee injury in November.
