Relationship expert reveals the simple reason why people get ghosted
While the term 'ghosting' only appeared in colloquial language in the past decade, the concept of going completely silent on someone after some sort of romantic interaction is anything but new. And if you're single in today's dating climate, odds are you've been ghosted at least once (if not twice) by someone you met on the apps - or even someone you went on a few dates with. According to a survey conducted by NumberBarn, 75 percent of single people admitted that they had been ghosted by someone they were dating or speaking to on a dating app before.
