The PM is 'absolutely committed to securing a lasting peace' after the extraordinary announcement by the US president. Sir Keir spoke to Mr Trump last night, although it is not clear whether the call was before or after the news broke. In interviews, Angela Rayner admitted it is a 'very serious moment' but American military aid was a 'matter for the US'.
