On the backs of an embarrassing defeat in Super Bowl LIX, the mother of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes is honoring her son. Mahomes had a performance to forget in the championship game for the 2024 NFL season - wherein he threw three touchdowns, but also gave up two interceptions that doomed the team. The first of those was a pick-six, the second set up an Eagles touchdown.
