Russian missile chief fights for his life following Ukrainian revenge assassination bid after his forces killed 59 in cafe rocket attack
Ukraine today claimed a revenge strike on a Russian missile brigade commander whose forces 'killed 59 people in a cafe attack' in 2023. Captain Konstantin Nagayko, 29, was in a 'critical condition' after an explosion in Ivanovo region, said Kyiv military intelligence. This came on a day Ukraine mounted its biggest drone attack of the war on the region surrounding St Petersburg, with a blast causing a major fire at Ust-Luga port, more than 620 miles from the nearest Kyiv-controlled territory.
