Ten people have been killed and 30 others injured in New Orleans after an SUV was driven into crowds of pedestrians in Bourbon Street. Authorities say they are responding to a 'mass casualty incident' in the early hours this morning as the city celebrated the New Year. Officials have confirmed there have been 10 fatalities. Witnesses have claimed the suspect was 'wearing full body armor' and 'armed with an assault rifle', according to reports on social media.
