Joy Behar Recalls Her First Time Performing for Barbara Walters-and How She Was the Only Person Not Laughing
Joy Behar didn't exactly get off on the right foot the first time she met the late Barbara Walters. Behar, 82, was one of the original panelists on The View, which Walters created with Bill Geddie in 1997. On the Jan. 14 episode of Finding Your Roots, the television personality recalled the first impression that Walters — who died in 2022 at age 93 — had of her when they met years ago.
