It's not just men! WOMEN can be 'mansplainers' too, scientists say
Most women will be familiar with the phenomenon of mansplaining – having a bloke explain something in a condescending, oversimplified manner. But women can be just as bad at providing unsolicited advice, according to a study. Researchers asked more than 1,800 women to read scenarios in which either a man or a woman gave a co-worker of equal standing uninvited advice around getting promoted or instead asking supportive questions.
