Brendan Fraser Drops Out of Off-Broadway Production for 'Unforeseen Circumstances'
Brendan Fraser unfortunately won't be taking to the stage before the start of spring. On Monday, Jan. 6, Signature Theatre announced via Instagram that The Whale actor, 56, had to "step away" from his role in the Off-Broadway production of Grangeville by award-winning writer Samuel D. Hunter. They shared a photograph of actor Paul Sparks, 53, as they revealed he will be filling in for Fraser in the show, which runs from Feb.
