Alabama cheerleader Abbie Stockhard wins Miss America - but furious viewers are all saying the same thing
Miss Alabama cheerleader Abbie Stockard has been crowned winner of Miss America 2025, beating 10 other finalists to the $50,000 tuition scholarship prize. The 97th annual pageant took place over the weekend at the Walt Disney Theater in Orlando, concluding with 2024 winner Madison Marsh crowning Stockard after a series of hard-fought events. The competition was sadly overshadowed by the decision to stream on YouTube and PageantVision.com, having previously been shown on NBC, ABC and Peacock.
