A woman who was held captive and raped in a barn for over four years in Poland by a man she met on the internet was hospitalised whenever she failed to satisfy his demands and would be hosed down with cold water, it has emerged. The 30-year-old victim, only known as Malgorzata, who met Mateusz J in 2019 after connecting on a dating site, was reportedly held in a disused animal barn, and was subject to regular beatings, rape, and mental abuse for four years.
