George Clooney is refuting a recent report claiming he and Brad Pitt were each paid a whopping sum to star in their new film Wolfs. While speaking alongside Pitt at the Venice Film Festival on Sunday, Sept. 1, ahead of the thriller's world premiere, Clooney addressed a recent New York Times article that had sources claiming the duo were paid "more than $35 million each" for their work. "[It was] an interesting article and whatever her source was for our salary, it is millions and millions and millions of dollars less than what was reported.
