GIVING Tuesday is a global day of charity, which involves doing selfless acts for others and comes after Black Friday and Cyber Monday. The movement began in 2012 in the US following Thanksgiving and has become a social media fad ever since.

The idea was created in America in 2012 as a day to give back, it was decided to fall on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving. Social media plays a huge role in the movement as a way of spreading awareness of charities and causes that could do with a bit of a helping hand. Giving Tuesday now happens in more than 60 countries in the days following Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Hilda's family members were able to say goodbye to their daughter prior to her organ donation. "We left at 7pm to get some rest but with the certainty that our girl is in the presence of God, resting and waiting for justice in her case,... Luis said. "My daughter would have been 27 today and we are very, very, very sad because it's a loss that we will never forget and nothing will ever be able to fill. "This was a very, very hard process for us, sixteen days of anguish, but I also believe that God gave us that time to prepare to accept what was going to happen. Hilda had only moved to LA from her hometown of Monterrey, Mexico, in July after finding a job as an interior designer. TRAGIC LOSS She graduated cum laude as an architect from Monterrey University two years ago. Christy's phone records showed that the women's last known location was at an apartment in Beverly Hills. Neighbors told The Sun that they heard the sound of someone "moaning in pain" coming from that apartment all day in the hours before both women were dumped at the hospitals. Christy's phone showed she had texted Hilda at around 5.30am that Saturday to say "Let's get out of here" with the wide eyes emoji. Hilda replied "Yes" and said she had called for an Uber \- but after that Christy did not read or respond to any more texts sent to her. Christy was not dumped at Southern California Hospital in Culver City until around 12 hours later, while Hilda was left at the ICU two hours after that. Christy's husband Jan Cilliers, 40, has said that two men who left the party with Christy and Hilda have been quizzed by police and are claiming the women suffered "accidental overdoses." The model's mom, Dusty, has said that the family fears the women were drugged and sexually attacked. FAMILY'S FAREWELL Luis also shared with The Sun the words he wrote as a farewell to his daughter before she went into the operating room. The heart-wrenching note read: "My daughter, my precious girl, I love you and always will. "You have been and always will be my beautiful girl. "Go to heaven without any worry. Even though your physical departure hurts us we know you are going to a better place. "Don't worry about anything my queen, I will wait for the day in which I can hug you again. "My love, thank you for all these years and for having taught me so much. "I will look after your boy Tomas (Hilda's dog) and your sister Fer. "Caro and I will always have you in our heart and mind, rest in peace my daughter, my Hiyi (Hilda's nickname)."

The yob kicked the man \- sending him flying into the garage in the attack in Birmingham In the horrific clip, the three hooded thugs can be seen approaching the home \- but as they lunged forward the OAP emerged from his garage. The man bravely stands in front of his home, triggering the outside sensor light to turn on as he confronted the robbers on November 26. He seems to shout at the three men before the first thug leaps and kicks the OAP in his chest \- sending him flying. The helpless homeowner was thrown through the air and slammed into the corner of his garage as the men started the raid. He flinched and held his hands up while the hooded men ran past and entered his home just after 9pm last week. One of the three yobs stood by the old man \- presumably making sure he didn't run away \- while the other two raided his Birmingham home. And he flew to his other home in Paris, as well as luxury trips to Mexico and Marrakesh. The papers included a map compiled from the globe-trotting pervert's flight logs. The narco queen pleaded guilty to knowingly and willfully conspiring to distribute heroin, cocaine, marijuana and methamphetamine for a period of at least six years. She also pleaded guilty to one count of money laundering and one count of engaging in transactions with a foreign narcotics trafficker. As part of her plea agreement, she additionally admitted to conspiring to help her husband escape from a Mexican prison in 2015. Before entering her plea, prosecutor Anthony Nardozzi told Judge Contreras that if the case went to trial, ...the government would prove each of the three counts in the information by a variety of means. ...Those would include witness testimony, evidence generated by law enforcement investigation, and other means,... he said. Coronel confirmed for the judge that she understood the charges and the repercussions of her guilty plea. NARCO QUEEN NABBED Coronel was arrested in February 2021 at Dulles International Airport in Virginia, following a two-year investigation. Investigators say she helped her husband \- real name Joaquin Guzman \- relay messages from 2012 to early 2014 about his drug trafficking operations to smugglers within the Sinaloa cartel. She allegedly continued to deliver messages while visiting El Chapo in a Mexican prison after his arrest in February 2014. The FBI in court documents said US-born Coronel and members of her family were deeply involved in the cartel's trafficking activities.

EL CHAPO EXTRADITED TO THE US Coronel allegedly began plotting another escape following his January 2016 capture by Mexican authorities. However, before that plan could be carried out, El Chapo was extradited to the US in January 2017.
